No need to Download software? Online File Conversion

ZAMZAR ONLINE FILE CONVERSION!
Free Online Video File Conversion,No need to download software.

Ok, So ZamZar is taking free file conversion to the next level. They will do it for you. Now the only issues we found, is the time it takes to upload the file. Then wait for the conversion to show up in your converted inbox. Now if you're not a wiz kid at video file conversion, understanding codecs, fps and res bitrate sizes, and you don't want to buy a conversion tool. Or you've tried some of the other free programs but couldn't get it right, as with out a computer science degree, you couldn't find the Handbrake to park a great quality conversion! All joking aside. It's worth a looksie.

Ok, so some pre NewYear merryment had me a little cross eye'd but i've fix ZamZar from ZanMar.

Are you all Thumbs - iPhone newbies stylus to the rescue

If you picked up an iPhone, or got one as a present this year. Also if you don't have little fingers, you might find that using your little toy is driving you crazy when you are trying to type. For as little as $9.50 USD you can pick up a heat sensitive stylus from Brando. It's one of those accessories for the iPhone that is fairly hard to find in the retail outlets. Once you get the hang of the keyboard, the stylus will be left in your pocket, but for your sanity, and the time it takes to get the hang of hitting the correct letters while texting, logging in, surfing the net. An iPhone stylus is a great gadget for the iPhone newbie. Just don't press too hard!

iBeer! Does anyone make anything worth while for the iPhone?

As a follow up to my last look at the top app in the Apple App Store - iFart.. iBEER is climbing the charts. iBeer the makers of iMilk and iMuchies - for the iPhone stoners! Has me wondering, does anyone really make a useful iPhone application anymore. Or is everything a gimic! I guess the iBeer is less fattening! Geez, How about iSex.. Just make sure you have you wet wipes handy.

It does a good job of using the tilt sensors, shake it up and the beer froths, tip it to drink, and when you've finished your iBeer, Let out a huge burp, followed by and iFart.

Hopefully everyone is having a safe and Happy Holiday Season!

Is 2008's most popular iPhone App a stinking pile of crap?

Okay, so we've all felt like we wanted to be 4 again, and sometimes it's good for the soul, for .99 cents. You too can be a juvenile preschooler again. While you're sitting in the waiting room at your local practitioner why not let an iFart loose, just to see the faces of disgust of the rest of the waiting roomers.

It may not be a pretty and sophisticated app, and it doesn't say much for what an iPhone can really be used to accomplish, but it's still the most downloaded paid.. yes paid app in the Apple App Store.

My .99 cents is better spent on my morning coffee, and if you want, give me a buck and I'll let one rip and give you the full fragrant effect for free!

What the Twitters are saying:
The best-selling iPhone app is iFart? Makes me embarrassed to own an iPhone.

Current #1 selling iPhone app: iFart Mobile. Sophisticated users my ass.

@ifart this app is awesome. I wish we could record some of our own quality farts. When do we see iBelch?

@maloman we are going to start a support group for it.. ifarters anonymous

Checking your list, who’s been naughty and nice?

So! In anticipation of Christmas morning, which little gadgets top our Nice list this year, as in Oh how nice it would be to own that!

  1. Of Course the iPod Touch and iPhone are a top of many Christmas lists. As well as the assortment or accessories to go with them. The iPhone 3G lauch in conjunction with the app store has opened up the “Please give me an iTunes gift card. Please Please Please.
  2. Now if I didn’t want and iPhone, I’m sure I’d be giddy about the Storm, since I love my Blackberry Curve, and it’s RIM service, the Storm might actually be something I might even consider over owning an iPhone. Even better, since I love the little keyboard on the Curve. Could the Blackberry Bold be my choice of new wireless hardware for 2009. I’m going to have to get a hold of all three units for a test drive.
  3. Okay, so my personal oh I want! Is a new HD HardDrive Camcorder. My personal model pick, “Canon VIXIA HG20 AVCHD 60 GB HDD Camcorder with 12x Optical Zoom” Full HD video and a 60 GB hard drive and better ISO than my two year old JVC 30GD HD Cam. Oh those are jingle bells baby.
  4. My Software pick for my 2008-2009 Wish list, Adobe’s new CS4 suite and Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 7.
  5. For any photo enthusiast, you probably have noticed that once you have a few hundred photos on your SLR. The Read/Write times start to lag. So now that the SanDisk 8 GB Extreme IV CompactFlash Card is not only cheaper, it has one of the fastest read/write times at 40MB/sec. It’s worth the $90 (Average) price tag, and is sure to stop at least a few moments of frustrations, when connecting to your computer for picture removal.
  6. And yes.. our final wish list item for 2009. The new 17 inch 2.6 ghz Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro, fully loaded with the 128 SSD and High-Performance NVIDA graphics.

As I said, it’s a wish list, so like most of you, I’d be super happy with any of these. How about you?

Google Chrome v 0.4.154.33 fixes Hotmail woes?

SADLY IT DOESN'T WORK FOR ME!
Does it work for anyone?
After you update the ShortCut, the hotmail live.com javascript fails to run and a message can't be opened and the menu doesn't accept clicks.
Take out the browser declaration and the javascript runs but the message box is still disabled.
One other thing about this posting on ChromePlugins that reeks of a HOAX. The current Google is up to date message is version 1.0.154.36. so is 0.4.154.33 a type O!

When software is Beta, it's usually buggy! This one drove the Hotmail masses mad, if they tried to early adopt. The Hotmail Vs Chrome saga may have come to an end, as some sources. ie. ChromePlugins and Google Chrome Releases are reporting the glitch as fixed in an upcoming Dev Release.

Complete List of Changes in 0.4.154.33 reported by ChromePlugins

r6148 - This allows the Google desktop Links to be lauched in Google Chrome as the default web browser.

r6421 - It fixes the crash many users were getting while trying to open the Chrome Options Dialog box or any other sub-menu under Windows XP 65-bit.

r6464 - This changes the accelerator keys for the Javascript Debugger from ALT+VK_OEM_3 to Ctrl+Shift+L and for the Javascript Console to Ctrl+Shift+J. This was done in order to support a standard keyboard settings in all languages.

r6467 - Fixes the issue with displaying the unicode characters in some fonts such as the plane-1 characters which were not being displayed correctly earlier.

r6482 - It fixes the issue while composing mails and switching between folders in Hotmail. Since Hotmail still does not quite properly recognise Chrome, so to use the site with minimum bugs with hotmail you have to add the following code to the Google Chrome Shortcut you use to launch Google Chrome.
--user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/525.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1 Safari/525.19"
Steps:
Right Click on the Google Chrome Shortcut
Click on Properties
Copy-Paste the above code at the end of the Target File and click OK.

r6492 - Fixes the untranslated “Text zoom” Menu while switching the Chrome Language to any of the localised language

It's a Walmart Wii Christmas

Back in Nov, we projected that the Wii would most likely be a endagered product on the shelves of most stores, this Holiday season. It looks like even as most retailers are posting back ordered signs on the Wii Product Codes, it seems the Big old Giant retailer Walmart is coming to the rescue with it's stock of consoles.  As the flash ad boasts on the Walmart homepage. "They'll go fast, so shop now and save.

So is this a BlackBerry Storm Screen Scratch test. OR a CES PROMO. Watch for yourself but be ready for 30 odd secs of non-dramatic video with only the CES logo and a Storm present. Is it a REAL test or FAKE.. Applying sharp object to any surface should cause something!! Or is the Storm out of this world?
