RIM Exec's don't pull trigger on advertisment!

The RIM execs passed on this marketing advertisement. Oh that poor piece of fruit (pause for effect), oh! was that an Apple. Hummm, being shot by that plump spinning Blackberry. Now,they should of ran with it, even if things got explosive, mind the pun! It's smart and totally fun. The folks over in Cupertino, know how to poke fun anyways.

Window 7 RC 1 Add-in's that make sense.

Acitve Peek on Taskbar

Windows 7 Beta testers made a large list of wants and fixes during the beta process, and the Microsoft Engineers respond with a list of fixes and user control features that make sense, and will hopefully speed up usage productivity.

Now the full list is here, but the features that top my favorites have to be, active peek during (alt tab) , hot key additions to quickly access the items on the task bar, you'll be able to use the windows fn key with the corresponding number key, example. IE, would be Windows Key + 2., pressing the sequence repeatedly will also cycle through the open instances of the program. Giving you the ability to flash through all open Internet Explorer windows. Also that the color Hot-track will stay active when the mouse hovers over the task bar. These simple three additions will give more control to the keyboard, with less time need to operate the mouse. I'm sure we will see some more exciting enhancements to Windows 7 before RC is release (Etimated April 10, 2009)

Mili Power! for iPhone 3G

Mili by PhoneSuit

It has to be the biggest thing iPhone users just hate about their iPhone. The battery life is horrendous, if you just use the phone to talk and nothing else you can sort of get through the day with out needing to plug it in to recharge. Now do a little surfing or god forbid you connect your bluetooth accessory to your iphone, and you'll be watching the phones battery drain.

The Mili by PhoneSuit is another phone cradle battery extender. Mili's is designed to have your iPhone in it, even while talking on the phone. The 4 light charge indicator is simple to understand, each light represents 25% charge. 4 Lights = 100%, etc. It's charge usage runs in three different modes with set priority, with you iphone's battery being used at the end.

iPhone / MiLi Power Source Usage Priority
  • 1st = iPhone uses USB outlet power source
  • 2nd = iPhone uses MiLi power pack battery
  • 3rd = iPhone switches to Internal iPhone battery

The Mili's color offerings and basically black and white, with different liner colors. Liner colors are not seen when you iPhone is in the cradle.

The unit comes in six different high-gloss colors
* High Gloss Black with Blue inner lining
* High Gloss Black with Green inner lining
* High Gloss Black with Gray inner lining
* High Gloss White with Orange inner lining
* High Gloss White with Green inner lining
* High Gloss White with Gray inner lining

Specifications–
Compatibility = iPhone 2G and 3G
Battery Capacity = 1800 mAh
Standby time = 350 Hours
Talk time = 6 hours on 3G, 12 hours on 2G
Internet use = 6 hours on 3G, 7 hours on Wi-Fi
Audio play = 28 hours
Video play = 8 hours
Warranty

Our only real complaint with the Mili charger is the finish. It takes on to many fine scratches and get's covered in finger prints. It would also be nice to see some more color or design options for the outside of the case.

Get Smart with LG, Your Mission Impossible, Bond Wannabe Cellphone.

The Mobile World Congress, did showcase some different things this year and the tops for my agent wannabe list, is the "Get Smart" LG Watch Phone, yes Get Smart is my nickname for this thing, as if you add the blue tooth headset, you can act like you are talking to agent 99. It's every James Bond, Spy loving, FBI agent fanatics dream come true.

The LG GD910 Watch phone was first showcased at CES 2008, but it wasn't until this year that is wasn't behind glass. it's face is made of tempered glass, with a high-quality metal casing, and is around 13.9mm thick. The touch screen itself is 1.43 inches diagonally, and features LG's Flash interface. Features include voice recognition, Text to Speech so it can read out text messages, and stereo Bluetooth, sadly it won't be State side any time soon, it a UK release as it's not compatible with the North American cellular network just yet....Oh.. This message will self-destruct!

Something for every computer repair techs bag!

Every computer repair tech should have one of these guys stashed away. It's a multi-purpose USB Internet sharing and PC data transfer tool, yes some thing so small yet it promises a lot. Connection is simple, the driver free tool connects up your XP or Vista machine and will tether the internet connection at the same time giving you the ability to transfer from machine to machine of connect to the internet to pull some important drivers or updates.

Now I'm not exactly what the internet sharing usefulness is, unless you are working on a older machine with no wireless or network connectivity as a wireless card is a standard in almost every machine, isn't it? But I'm sure once and a while you run into an older machine that is sans wireless card! Or maybe the wireless card is broke and it's a sorry wireless'less machine. Then this thing could save you! Yah .. ok.. anyways. $29.00 US at Brando

The ants could have a picnic on my Macbook keyboard!

Somedays, I look down at my keyboard and think, who is eating on this thing, It looks like an army of ants could have a nice picnic on here. So I decided to protect my shinny new MacBook Pro and do a little research on something that could be used a protection layer. The only thing that it had to do is keep the feel of the keyboard, nothing too thin and cushiony, I wanted it to still feel right. Like it wasn't even there.

So, I fould iSkin, and it's like a keyboards second skin for sure. It kinda like putting plastic on a couch, it just doesn't feel right. Unlike the horrid plastic wrapped couch, I can get used to the iSkin, as it's actually just the texture that freaks me out a little, but the fact that I can lift it off and take it to the sink and wash it up with some warm soapy water! It's a germaphobes dream come true for sure...

I liked the lime green color, but it comes in an array of funky colors to suit your style. It's also available for the wireless and wired keyboards. I went for the cheaper of the two options - 29.99 the ProTouch, but if you want to keep the black key look you can pickup the ProTouch Fx at 34.99 US.

Last.FM is swearing mad at TechCrunch

You can say how you feel in a single tweet! "Techcrunch are full of sh##!". http://twitter.com/lastfm, the basic message is that the story the TechCrunch ran on friday about Last.fm handing over subscriber data to RIAA, in the search for the U2 album pirating issue was a made up rumor. Last.fm has blogged it! They have tweeted it! They have had press conferences about it!

So anyways.. Let's all just get back to listening to good music and supporting our favorite artists with the occasional album purchase and maybe we can all get on with our lives!

Oh.. skip to the last.fm blog here, for more information about it.

Safari 4 Beta available! Acid3 Test scores.

If you want to believe Apple's Tag line that it's the worlds best browser, you'll have to see for yourself and take a test drive with the new Safari offering. Our tests have concluded that the browser and rendering performance of Beta 4 may be some of best browser performance we have seen, and may take Safari to a larger market share for sure.

Acid3 Test Comparisons:

Firefox 3.0.5
Opera 9.63
Google Chrome 1.0.154.48

As you can see, Safari 4 scores 100/100 on the acid3 test.
Opera is a close second at 85/100 and Firefox and Chrome in behind.
This compared to a 12/100 for I.E.6, which has to be the most used, most hated browser on the planet! It is fantastic news for the web development community. Hopefully all browsers will eventually score a 100/100 and give standards to web development environments

The Ghost in the Blackberry

Vibranxiety, Phantom BlackBerry Vibration Syndrome

It’s been about twenty years or more, I guess, that I’ve had some sort of vibrating device hooked on to my belt on a daily basis. I’m sure like most people, the rituals of putting these on, means they are always on the same side out of habit. With out warning the phantom strikes and the phenomenon known as phantom vibration syndrome, better known as Crackberry Addiction happens, sending me to check my phone, to realize, there was never a call to begin with. Oh, this isn’t new news, it’s been reported over the years, but never extensively studied.

Is this cellphone anxiety, or is the beginning of some neurological problem that has yet to surface. Does anyone really know what the long term effects of constant device wearing, will cause.

Some call it Phantom Vibration Syndrome; some have coined the term “vibranxiety”. I just can’t wait until phantom touching happens, seeing how people also report that they hear the ring tones, as well, when it never rang… It’s a strange mobile addicted world we live in.

LinkBee - TinyURL with Monetization

Would you like to monetize basic URL's?

Have you used TinyUrl? LinkBee does exactly the same thing the TinyUrl does, the difference is they want to pay you for the clicks that your url generates. Now it will take a lot of clicks to generate $1.00US. 100,000 clicks. The catch is they really want you to use one of the other two options. One displays an advert in between sending you to your destination, the other places the site you are travelling to in a frame below a linkbee advertisement, of course the link payouts for these are a lot more obtainable. None is a great options for those already using TinyUrl and you might even make a buck!

Current LinkBee Rates

Gmail Multiple Inboxes isn’t combining mailboxes, But!

Almost, So close! Just not true Multi-Inbox handling.

Yes! Turning on Gmail Multiple inboxes in the settings, and then under labs is extremely useful, if collecting email from another address is your goal. But it’s using a filter to assign the To:[Email Address] to a label and archive it, by-passing the inbox.

If you setup  Gmail to include both your inbox and your Label in the view, the effect is a 2 mailbox feel, you still don’t have the ability to manage 2 Gmail email accounts under the same page, but you can still manage the email. You will need to remember that you probably should tag the subject as "on-behalf of" when responding to the emails in the new label view, as the email will be sent out from the current e-mail box.

So yes, Gmail Multiple Mailboxes is useful, just not what I’m looking for just yet.

The Instuctions for setting up your account to turn on Multiple Inboxes: Official Gmail Blog: Tip: Manage several email accounts with Multiple Inboxes, is missing the last step, after placing the TO address, the next step, set it to archive(skip the inbox) and also click the assign to Label checkbox and select a label to place the archive into.

Color Rush For Your iPhone Is Puzzle Fun

Color Rush

Url: http://underclouds.com/iphone/colorrush/

The object of Color Rush is fairly simple, take away more gems than your opponent. You start in the bottom left and can only remove gems that your white square is connected to. Take away the most gems and you win.

It's not as easy as it sounds, even at the easy level getting past round 2 is fairly difficult.

Apple's Mission to Jail iPhone Breakers! Crackulous and Pwned beware.

You have to love CNN, Story coverage today, is breaking news that Apple would love to throw you into the slammer, for jail-breaking you iPhone.

Now, as much as Apple believes they have the right, the fact is ownership is 9 tenths of the law. If you bought it you own it. If you are paying a monthly fee to a carrier then you are paying for it! The phone is yours, if you want to throw it in the garbage or run it over with your car, it's your choice. So messing with an OS you've paid for, is also your choice. Just don't ask for any hardware support or manufacturer warranty if you brick your iPhone.

Now here is what is not legal, the cracking of applications, providing hacks to allow users to use purchased software. Also in the U.S. yes it is illegal to download such applications and install them on your iPhone. It's the same issue about breaching the Millennium Copyright Protection Act, that the MPAA has been screaming about for years.

Just like loading an illegally downloaded MP3, or an MP4. Getting applications from sites like Hackulous, Appulous, Crackulous and so on, might one day land you in legal hot-water. Or maybe Apple will brick your iPhone the next time you connect it to iTunes, and then mail you out a violation fine.

Edit: Feb 19 2009.

Looks like Skype and Mozilla jumped into trash Apples locking blocking rules on loading what you want on hardware you've purchased and have filed their own sets of papers in support of a more open handset. As the Yahoo Tech article reports... they both have something to gain with a more jail-broken handset operating system. Browser choice and IP WiFi calling.. hmmm.

Making Skype Portable - USB, PSP and More.

Making a voice call Skype has been a great way to connect with friends at no cost. Skype to Skype calls are FREE, so connecting with classmates, colleagues and family members doesn't always have to cost anything. So why not take Skype with you when your out and about. Now if you tote around your notebook than you probably already take advantage of Skyping on the road, all you need is a wifi hotspot and your connecting with someone.

Another option is connection your PSP-2000 to Skype. Which is far less to carry around. The software is available at SONY for download, here is the instruction page, then you just need to pick up a compatible headset to listen and talk away!

Now if you want to go ulta portable, putting Skype on to a USB stick, would make Skype abvaiable at any place you can plug it in.. Hotel lobbies, internet cafes and libraries with internet access.

Now you need to install the latest version of Skype and have a USB key. To get started plug in your USB key.

1. Locate the Skype program directory, (Default is C:\program files\Skype)
2. Copy the Skype.exe to a directory on your flash drive
3. In the same folder make a new folder named DATA
4. Lets now create the file that you will use to lauch Skype from your USB key.
5. Rename this new file to StartSkype.bat or Lauch_Skype.bat, name it what ever makes sense to you.
6.Open your new file using Notepad or another text editor and write this line.
"skype.exe /datapath:"data" /removable" (without the quotes).
7. Save and close your file

This has been tested with the Skype 4.0 and works well.

If you are making Skype to land line calls Skype has some very competative rates and packages for local and long distance calling.

Google is working hard to keep your iPhone sync'd!

From the official Google GMAIL blog.

It looks like Google is working hard to make the iPhone more business friendly, well more small business friendly. Large corporations still side in the RIM camp when it comes down to business functionality, but for small business that use, Gmail as their way of communicating and keeping contact's organized. Gmail now has mobile sync which allows you to sync you iPhone with your Gmail contacts. Now lets point out that Google Sync beta is not just for the iPhone, it's just the spin the Gmail blog puts on it, hoping to attract iPhone users with limited contact organization with their phones.

It's also noted that user should back up contacts already on the iphone, as it's doesn't do a merge operation, its a complete refresh of the contacts.

This is the notes for the GMAIL post:
  • iPhone users: Google Sync will remove all existing contacts and calendar events from your phone, so make sure to back up (PC instructions, Mac instructions) your data before you set it up.
  • Remove contacts that you don't want to sync to your phone. From the "My Contacts" section of the contact manager, select the contact you want to remove, click "Groups" and then "Remove from My Contacts."
  • Merge duplicates so friend@theirgmailaddress.com and samefriend@theirworkaddress.com both belong to the same contact. To do so, select both contacts, and click "Merge these 2 contacts." When you merge contacts, your address auto-complete won't work as well as before. We're working on a fix for this, but until that's out you might notice addresses showing up in a suboptimal order in auto-complete, e.g. your friend's work address coming up first when you're used to emailing their Gmail address.
Maybe someday soon, the iPhone will be able to compete one on one with the Blackberries in the corporate market place.

Google is calling all G1 Developers to it's table

Google, by way of Reuters, is reported to be calling all developers to the table next week, and allowing them the ability to publish applications in its store for the G1 and it's Android phones.

Last week Microsoft announced its foray into the highly dominated smart phone market. Each company hopes to gain some market share away from the iPhone and Apple, by increasing the product offerings in the way of applications through their online stores.

Non Coco developers should be excited about the ability to publish java developed application for the G1. The iPhone development is limited to the Mac OS-X and develop using the Coco language, where the android sdk, is Java based libraries. With the recent success of independent developers stricking gold on iTunes. Some are probably hoping to duplicate some success with Google and Android.

NetFlix Post 600,000 additions, Lot's of options for recession planning families.

Unlike the auto sector that is recording record losses in the last couple of quarters, the recession is a boon for some, as we have seen with NETFLIXs recent numbers just released. Netflix has added some 600,000 subscribers since January. Now as most families have started to divert their entertainment budgets for going out, to staying hunkered on the family couch. Digital downloads will be on the rise as well, as numbers from the XBOX360 (oh yah that’s NetFlix) Sony Playstation and Apple-TV / iTunes as well as Amazon start to post out there first quarter numbers.

Now it’s not just the big brick and mortar companies making a killing off the recession trenches, it’s also sites like Hulu and CinemaNow and a slue of others.

Now out of the MPAA legal online movie list, my favorites in no particular order.

HULU
ABC.COM
CINEMANOW
JOOST
FOX ON DEMAND
CARTOON NETWORK VIDEO.

See the entire list here: http://www.mpaa.org/piracy_LegalOpt.asp

Now most, if not all of the MPAA content is USA only, so your legal options out side the USA differ.

Well, it's obvious, don't make it look like an apple, Sound like an apple or taste like an apple, and you might avoid a law suit. It's "APPLE'S" and Oranges in this case, and the MS App store will of course, have no iPhone or iTouch applications but will carry everything for everyone else, well that's my guess! What does the iTunes store care anyway, they have 20,000 apps, lots of fart noises and gag apps to satisfy almost every kid at heart!

Oh and what will android do! well, probably force all the Google apps down on you!!

I'm a PC -> Really! I thought I was at www.apple.com

Two Dudes and two PC's

And the video demo makes sure you know they are PC's. It's too funny! You know what would be even better! If every copy of Windows 7 shipped with an I'm a PC sticker in it's box.

You know, I'm on the Windows 7 product page, I'm viewing the Windows 7 quick demo. I'm also aware that a Windows machine is a PC. The obvious must be lost on some, and these two guys sort of resemble the guys from the Mac vs PC commercials. Don't they.. 1 Geeky 1 Balding!

Google Maps Mobile - new version just doesn't start on Blackberry Curve

Mobile Google Maps

We have noticed that the new version of Google Maps does not start, it dies directly after the splash screen. Comment if you have it working or if you are having the same issue. We have tested this on the Blackberry Curve and have confirmed this issue. It may be fine on other smart phones and Blackberry models.

The new version includes Google Latitude, you can now find out where your friends are when starting up mobile Google maps. This feature yet cool, has the GPS running to track your movements, which is a huge drain on battery life.

To try out Google Maps Mobile use this page to send the installation link to your phone.

Turn Ads into Art, Costing more than you know

Add to Art A Firefox plugin.

Are you an Ad - Hater. Well sometimes, the search for a girl near you, or the oh she's so hot for you ads do get annoying. Now this plug turns the ad spots on your favorite web pages and others a like into a virtually art gallery, with images changing every couple of weeks.

Here is the problem, just like in every other form of entertainment advertising is an economic necessary evil. With-out it. The NY Times online might come with an online subscription fee. You favorite blogs would vanish. Why, because nothing in life is free. Someone is paying for it. So why would you want to remove the one thing, even if you never click on them. That is keeping it Free for you! If you still have a mainstream advertising hate on, then follow the link, and gallery up your internet with a Picaso or two!

MyBeBook - Is it the Kindle 2 Competition

Ok, well BeBook looks more like the Kindle, than the Kindle 2. It's almost $100 cheaper than what the Kindle 2 will probably cost. Is also clamming the e-ink type technology gives the reader a true paper reading experience. Now maybe it's all too good to be true. It's produced by a Dutch company and they operate out of the Netherlands, the pdf format books in the collection include Pride and Prejudice, Sherlock Holmes and Grimm's Fairy Tales to name a few. Take a look, decide for yourself.

MSN-Microsoft starts to dish gossip - Celebs take cover

Now, Since Thursday a search on Wonderwall in most search engines, brings up Oasis - Wonderall and the new Celeb gossip portal run by MSN Wonderwall.com Beta. It's led by Alex Flagg "Best Week Ever Blog".

Now at first glance, it's grocery store mag gossip, your A-Typical Celeb rag. It's basic concept is a pin up wall that you scroll left and right to find pinned up gossip on the Wonder"WALL". It's a wonder how long this one will take to flop. Sorry but with sites like OMG and TMZ, does the internet need another gossip portal.

Maybe, we can't get enought I suppose!

Where is my NAS Wifi Media External HD?

Is it too much to ask for?

I'm so close to opening my wallet on the LaCie - LaCinema Classic, it's got everything I've been looking for, except for 2 things.. wifi - nas connectivity.

It's HDMI output to the tv.. It's support of almost every video file. But the one thing I truly want in a media box to sit in my entertainment center, would be the ability to transfer files to it with no cables, no usb, no connecting an RJ45 to put it on my network.

But this box is about as stylish as they come. it comes in a 500GB and 1T config. It has a USB2.0 up front( grrr..) but over all it's almost where I want it to be. Supports, MPEG-4 AVI, XviD, DivX (3.11, 4.x, 5.x). Has up-scaling to 1080p.

Only thing is, it's a back order at Tiger Direct.. So I'm on a holding pattern waiting, hoping that I'll hear the majic news of a new one, with wifi and nas.. LaCie can you hear me panting.

The Kindle part 2: Slimmer,Sleeker, almost worthy!

Kindle the 2nd Generation

The Amazon eBook reader, the Kindle will launch it's second generation eBook reader on Monday. The handle held reader update over the first generation, is almost what we wanted to see in an eBook reader.

First off, yes the keyboard is needed to operate and also connect and shop wireless at the Amazon eBook store. A uni body design keeping the keyboard away from a slide out design, is less flimsy. The only thing better would of been a multi-touch screen and a touch keyboard during store operations.

That leads to the next point, the screen could of been closer to paper size, making it true e-paper. Now the catch would be larger screen same hardware footprint, hence, multi-touch - screen keyboard... Oh well, maybe on the 3G

The backing on this reader is metal and adds to it's sturdy feel. With a very close first gen iPhone feel. Now does this mean you are going to run off and spend $359 on this lil bad boy. It's yet to be seen, the general consensus is, is that the price point is two high, most will be waiting for bargin sales to pick one up.

V8 Gives Chrome a proper filename in Drag n Drop OP.

Chrome is slowly starting to take shape! I use the browser more and more, and it's a toss up between FireFox and Chrome these days, it really depends on what saved links I have and what browser they are in. The feature of dragging out components, and being able to split browser session is fantastic, when you looking to do a side by side.

Now the best fix in this release, is that when you drag an image off of Chrome, it now saves the file with a proper file name. Collecting public domain images is now a snap. A drag and drop operation.

Zynga, Blankets all users - Bans all with items hacked and covers with TOS

Zynga, the makers of YoVille a social media virtual reality game, made some changes that created an exploit that allowed some users to take advantage of the exploit and buy YoVille virtual collectibles. The employees have covered the bans as TOS violations. The issue with this is that users that had no idea that the items were fake were handed bans as well.

People have been paying Zynga money to buy Yocash and Yoville coins, and have been handed down a blanketed ban that may cause a class action suite against the Zynga company. TOS breech was not caused by people buying these items, only by people using a program called WPE pro to pay for items no longer available in the Yo'Stores. But Zynga's capture all scripts covered everyone and anyone.

Emailing Zynga, gets a response that account by account will be looked at in 3 to 5 days. It's careless companies like Zynga that lose consumer trust. Or it's an over zealous Zynga employee and just a bad PR situation for the company.

Hey, you can always move over to IMVU or Small Worlds, for a less greedy and more interactive experiance. Bad Zynga, BAD! Poor form.

BETA - Windows 7 unavailable soon, did you BETA?

In the coming days Microsoft will be closing BETA for Window 7. To quote them "Time is running out! We'll be closing the Customer Preview Program for new registrations soon. So if you want to try the Windows 7 Beta, be sure to register and download within the next few days. (Now would be a good time, actually.)"

So, if you keen on finding out what all the fuss is about.. then head on over to the Beta download site: HERE

So with BETA Windows 7 coming to a close, Release Candidate 1 is around the corner, as Microsoft gets closer to the Windows 7 release date.

Sadly, the same licensing scheme is being deployed for Window 7, with 6 possible configurations to separate wallets from pockets for what really is a piece meal.

  • Windows 7 Starter
  • Windows 7 Home Premium
  • Windows 7 Professional
  • Windows 7 Enterprise
  • Windows 7 Ultimate.
  • Windows 7 Home Basic will also be sold, but only to emerging markets.

But it is mostly about $ for what is in each version, versions that remove WMP to allow for EU anti-trust rulings, and about making the most out of your product.

It's not really bad for consumers, a cheaper OS on a low cost hardware platform makes sense for consumers, and a fully package bundle for high end consumers and enterprises. With that said. Windows 7 will be making it's debut soon enough. For some Vista is a nightmare, I personally feel Microsoft and sony owe me $1000, for a sony viao that was toasted by Vista or Sony's hardware. With a defunct hard-drive and burn in lines on the monitor, was it hardware, device drivers, or a bad os..

Windows 7, seems to be meeting expectations, it's removal of it's block everything and ask before you continue, has been re-worked. It's speed and BSOD seems to be less of an occurance.

The Internet will harm your Computer, Google Opinion

Many things are not news, but a simple mistake, by a tool used by many, becomes mainstream news worthy. Early morning, Jan 31. for about an hour, every site on the internet was going to harm your computer. A human error, a simple typo was to blame, according to the Googleblog.

"This site may harm your computer" if the site is known to install malicious software in the background or otherwise surreptitiously. We do this to protect our users against visiting sites that could harm their computers. We maintain a list of such sites through both manual and automated methods. We work with a non-profit called StopBadware.org to come up with criteria for maintaining this list, and to provide simple processes for webmasters to remove their site from the list.

Read the blog post here

It's a simple mistake, The list that was suppose to list out, sites on the "Harmful List", was basically added to include everyone.

I guess the real question here, is why does Google leave these sites in it's index, if they are known to be harmful.  Why is it you can de-index adult content, but you can't ask Google to remove know Malware and Spyware laden sites for your search.

Maybe it's to avoid de-indexing sites that have been tagged to contain some sort of harmful content, because of their association through backlinks and such.

Oh, well.. It's really not news.. the Internet didn't come crawling to a halt,  but it would of been funnier if every search had sent you over to the Yahoo search engine instead.

TWEET3 - Stoping Tweeter from taking over people’s lives one tweet at a time.

Url: http://www.tweet3.com/

In a world of Tweeting, Re-Tweeting. Communicating what you are doing, will soon become the basic statement: “I’m Tweeting, I’m Tweeting .. That is all I’m doing is Tweeting.”, So if you are a Tweeter with a very hectic schedule you might need to check out the features that TWEET3 has for you..

Manage Multiple Accounts, Analytics, URL Shortening services and Facebook integration.

“In a nutshell, Tweet3 is a client for managing more than one Twitter account at the same time. Using this new solution, those who have a hectic tweeting schedule will be able to keep everything on track and jump from one profile to the other. Some features that should be at least mentioned include a URL shortening service and full Facebook integration. The former is a true necessity when it comes to tweeting, and any self-proclaimed Twitterer that does not use such a service is obviously not employing Twitter as it should be used. For its part, the Facebook integration tool makes for posting updates only when you choose. As it is pointed out online, too many tweets can clutter up your account, and that is why it is good to choose what to post and what to keep to yourself. Moreover, a “Minified Tweet Mode” is included. This makes for viewing more than one tweet at once, and for the time being it is available only as an option in Tweet3 Labs. That is also the place to submit ideas and suggestions, so that if you think there is something sorely missing when it comes to Twitter you have a chance to voice your feelings and redress the situation.”

It's Time To Move From Sequential VHS To Digital Video with ROXIO

Easily Transfer Video from VHS to DVD
If you are housing a cabinet full of VHS tapes, for what ever reason. Maybe it's family recordings of vacations, birthdays, weddings or anything else. You are risking losing it all.

Now, it's not a scare method for you to run out and pay a ton of money for someone to convert these tapes to digital media, it's the facts.

VHS tapes are magnetic and the magnetism on the tape degrades over a period of time, eventually leaving you with white noise (or snow) .

Another good reason, is that getting a VHS player is becoming hard with each passing year! Yes you might find a combo for the next little while at the local Kmart or Walmart, but even if you have a new player.. snow is still snow!

Don't spend hundreds of dollars for an Audio Visual company to digitally master your old tapes, when Roxio has a simple solution that will cover your entire tape collection.

For $59.99, you not only get an easy to use DVD creation tool, but a USB Video Cature tool that comes with standard RCA connections as well as an SVideo port.

Get the stuff of VHS before it's too late! You can make copies, store the video on backup hard drives for safe keeping.  Share the video with friends and family on you PSP or iPod, or upload old videos to Youtube, Facebook or MySpace.   Go to Roxio for more information
