The New iPod Shuffle Talks.. Oh Yeah..

Ok, this is really kinda.. well, let's say.... wait for it! Stupid. The iPod shuffle talks to you, letting you know the song and artist. I'm guessing, some people needed the feature to know what songs they put on their shuffle. Since the rest of the iPod family have screens to allow you to see which song is playing, the tiny shuffle felt left out. Really! Someone thinks this is a great idea.. let's hope you can turn it off.

This week [03/24/2008] the iPod Reset Utility 1.0.3 for Mac/Windows was released. It give owners of 1st and 2nd gen ipod shuffles the ability to completely erase all music and data on the iPod, and it installs the current iPod software release on it.

*** DO NOT USE ON ANY OTHER iPod! Only use of iPod shuffles that are listed in the release notes.

                

2GB iPod Shuffle now shipping

[News Release, Feb 26 2008] Apple today began shipping the new 2GB iPod shuffle. Available in five colors — silver, blue, green, purple, and (PRODUCT) RED special edition — for just $69, the newest model of iPod shuffle holds up to 500 songs.
It's not a bad deal, the 1GB sells for $49 US, that's only $20 more, for the additional 1GB of storage space.. that's an extra 250 song storage for your 20 dollars.

Apple reduces 1GB iPod to $49

Big news for something so small!
Apple has reduced it's pricing on the 1GB and also the 2GB models.
1GB Shuffle is now $49.00 and the the 2GB Shuffle is $69.00
The iPod shuffle is one smallest portable music players on the market, and it's great for working out at the gym. Jogging or cycling! It's a great arm band companion.
