XP SP3 - Gets Official

If you've been waiting for the long time coming XP SP3. Look no further than your Windows Update Center. It's LIVE. After a little software glitch that had MS pulling the download until they fixed a "Compatibility issue" between the XP service pack and Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System, a retail chain management program for small and midsize businesses, is now finally available.

Looks like a little software glitch has MS pulling the download until they can put in a filter to the Update Center. Windows XP SP3 coming soon! This week?

Windows SP3 to be finally released.

Windows XP End of life is this June. This will most likely be the end of the service fixes for XP. With the Windows Vista SP1 Service pack release last week, it's the signal of the end for all the XP fans, as Microsoft will start to shift it's staffing to Vista requirements and the new upcoming OS (2010) . It doesn't mean that everyone is going to jump the Vista train just yet. Looks like most will likely migrate after Vista SP2. SP1 seems to less than perfect!

[Mar 25, 2008] Looks like MS has delayed it again, they just released SP3 RC3.. Not much additional fixes in RC3. So maybe it's the last release canidate. Honestly.. they probably won't firm it up until the EOL this June.. means.. here you go.. SP3... Have fun! XP is done.
